Zinfandel can be a rustic beast of a wine, however has an underlying ripe fruit spectrum which can range from dark berries to riper sweet or even stewed plums.

Margaret River grown from a single vineyard, grapes were fermented on skins for 8 days before gentle pressing to oak.  The wine remained in oak for 18 months, allowing a long slow maturation.

This style is savoury, rustic and brambly, raspberry and blackcurrant with some spicy peaks.

Flavoursome feel on the palate matched to textured gravelly tannins and screaming for rare grilled meats.
